Classic Get Well

A very dear friend of ours has been having some health issues for the last few weeks. This is a first for him and is very scary. The dry embossed mat was embossed with the new Cuttlebug Diamond Plate EF. The edges of the main image are lightly sponged with brocade blue ink. I got my inspiration for this card from sf9erfan....

Thanks Michelle for your fabulous work to inspire many people around the world! MWAH!!!!

A Classic Birthday Inside

I normally don't do too much as far as decorating the inside but wanted to do a little something different. The sides of the mat and main image piece are distressed like the outside.

A Classic Birthday

This is the second version I made of another card in my splitcoast gallery. I redid this card for a friend of hubby's surprise birthday party tonite. Knowing this person, they're going to be in for a shock! LOL!!! I haven't had time this week so I'm cramming to get things done today. Thanks for looking! :)

Stepped Down

I am very sorry but I have had to step down from Sunshine's Stamps for the time being. Too many things are going on that need my full, undivided attention right now. I am hoping to go back to the team when things get calmed down again. Thanks for the encouragement and fabulous comments about my DT work!!!

Flying By Birthday

My DS's birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and he adores helicopters. Maybe mom is finally getting on the ball and getting his card ready AHEAD of time...lol! This is a real shocker!!!!! My DS and I love this Digi Image by Sunshine Stamps. I printed this image on GP cardstock from WalMart and colored it with copics. The first couple of times I tried didn't work so, I let it sit for at least a couple hours instead of rushing as usual and voila! Thanks Tami and the other gals on the DT for the suggestions on coloring digi images with copics. You gals ROCK!!!! Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Ink: Digi Image, Copics
Stamps: Hockerdocker Helicopter Digi Image by Sunshine Stamps

A Little Divaness

This card is a little out of my comfort zone but I wanted to try something different. The image is the Hot To Trot image from Sunshine's Stamps. You can purchase this image here. I am really loving these digital images! This is the first one I've ever tried. This was really simple to make. The hardest part was probably painting the flower ribbon sliders...lol. I painted them with deep coral Making Memories paint. I got my inspiration from here. Thanks Amy for inspiring me with your stunning work!

Ink: printed image
CS: PTI White and SU! Basic Black CS, SU! Prints Pack (ret)
Stamps: digital image

A Glittery Winter

Here's another card I finished last night but didn't get a chance to UL it. This was very quick and easy to make. I am really liking this top note die and my Martha Stewart glitter!!! The edges of the top note die are lightly sponged with night of navy ink.

Supplies Used:
Ink: SU! Night of Navy
CS: SU! Night of Navy and Brocade Blue, PTI White
Stamps: SU! Lovely As A Tree
Acc: Top Note Die, MS Crystal Fine Glitter, Narrow Organdy Ribbon, Bug Snow Dots EF
Tech: Sponging

A Graveyard Halloween Version 2

I am much happier with this version. I added candle light shimmerz to the moon. The bats still have black stickles on them. The only other thing I changed was the way I did my sponging and added pumpkin pie to the sunset mix. I'm not sure if this'll work on other whites as I only use PTI white but I was able to rub the color in (after stamping off so it wasn't too dark) instead of just dabbing like the first version.

Supplies Used:
Ink: SU! Really Rust, Mellow Moss, Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie
CS: SU! Basic Black and Mellow Moss, PTI White
Stamps: SU! Lovely As A Tree, Amuse Bat Trio
Acc: Sponges, MS Graveyard Edge Punch, Candle Light Shimmerz, Black Stickles, Paint Brush
Tech: Masking and Sponging
